If the coded immobiliser control unit is in a vehicle with a different generation engine control unit, it may happen that communication fails after coding and the code is set to XXXXX and defective control unit is written to error memory

Some units are capable of automatic detecting the engine unit and setting the coding at the correct value. If this does not happen, it is necessary to code it
